JULIETTA CLASSENS

Julietta Claessens began her dance training at the age of 4 and joined Delaware Dance Company in 2013 at the age of 7. In her years with DDC, she has studied different styles of dance including ballet, modern, and jazz. She has performed in many different productions over the years such as The Nutcracker, Carnival of the Animals, Peter and the Wolf, Aurora’s Wedding, and many recitals and galas. In 2019, Julietta joined DDC’s Youth Dance Ensemble and then joined the Performing Company in 2020 where she continued her training. As a member of the Youth Dance Ensemble and the Performing Company, Julietta has traveled to different dance festivals including Delaware Dance Festival, Maryland Dance Festival, and Regional Dance America/Northeast festivals where she took classes with teachers from around the country and performed with dancers from across the region. She loves exploring different styles of dance, performing, and working with children, and will begin her second year of teaching at Delaware Dance Company this fall.
