MADISON COOK

Madison Cook has been dancing nearly her whole life, beginning her training at just two years old. She became part of Stage Lights Dance Studio at age five, where she trained in a wide range of styles including ballet, pointe, modern, contemporary, jazz, tap, and musical theatre. She also joined Stagelights Competitive Team in 2007, earning numerous scholarships and awards alongside her teammates while developing a deep love for performing and learning. Her dedication to the art of dance continued through middle and high school at Cab Calloway School of the Arts (CCSA), where she majored in both Dance and Musical Theatre. During her time there, Madison was also a member of the CCSA Varsity Dance Team. She stepped into leadership roles early on and proudly served as team captain for her final two years. After high school, Madison went on to study Forensic Science with a concentration in Biology at the University of New Haven (UNH). While earning her degree, she remained connected to the dance world as a member of the UNH Dance Team, performing at football and basketball games as well as community events. Her passion for technique and teamwork led her to become the team’s Technique Captain during her senior year. Now, Madison works as a QC Laboratory Technician and is currently pursuing her Master’s in Business and Healthcare Administration. While she’s passionate about her professional work, dance has remained her creative outlet and a source of emotional release and community. Teaching allows her to return to her roots and share that same sense of joy and personal growth with her students. Madison is so excited to begin this next chapter of her dance journey and looks forward to helping her students thrive, grow, and reach their fullest potential.
